In 2022, I underwent bariatric surgery in Raleigh, NC, transforming my health by going from 330 lbs to 165 lbs. Through my journey, I saw a gap in education about exercise before and after weight loss surgery. As a PT, I understand both the critical importance of movement for overall health and the unique challenges of exercising in a larger body.
